Structural repairs approved for 15th-century Comlongon Castle
Dumfries and Galloway Council has approved essential restoration work for the 15th-century Comlongon Castle, which closed as a wedding venue in 2019. New owners David Thomson and Teresa Church are stabilising the historic tower house to prevent further decay and secure the site against trespassers, ensuring the future of one of Scotland's best-preserved examples of medieval architecture.
