Nationwide is introducing Safe Spaces across 42 former Virgin Money branches, bringing its total number of support sites to 475. These facilities provide a secure location for those experiencing domestic abuse to access confidential help, a measure expanded ahead of major football tournaments where such incidents have historically seen an increase.
