The UK's nuclear workforce has surpassed 100,000 people, with significant growth seen in the defence sector and at the BAE Systems shipyard in Barrow-in-Furness. Through the Nuclear Skills Plan, thousands of new apprentices and graduates are being recruited to meet future demand and ensure the industry has the expertise required for long-term projects.
