Offspring of one of the world's rarest trees planted at Logan Botanic Garden
A sapling grown from seeds of the last remaining Dendroseris neriifolia tree has been planted in Dumfries and Galloway. This tree daisy species, native to Robinson Crusoe Island, has faced near-extinction due to habitat loss and invasive species, making this new arrival a vital step in securing its future.
