The Ministry of Defence and UK start-up Alloyed have developed a new family of digitally manufactured turbojet engines, with the first model reaching flight testing in less than seven months. By using digital design and manufacturing, the programme aims to establish a sovereign propulsion capability for future defence systems while creating over 100 skilled jobs in the UK.
