More than 15,000 knives and bladed weapons have been handed into anonymous surrender bins and mobile units over the past year. By providing a no-questions-asked way to dispose of dangerous items, the initiative aims to reduce the number of weapons available in communities and support wider efforts to tackle knife crime.
