The Scottish government has provided over £1m to Highlands and Islands Airports Ltd to reinstate regular flight connections between Inverness and Stornoway, Kirkwall, and Sumburgh. These services will resume on 26 October, restoring travel links for residents who rely on these routes for essential transport.
