After only eight recorded sightings in 2021, the hummingbird hawk-moth has been spotted in gardens across the country in much higher numbers this year. These moths are often mistaken for birds due to their rapid wing beats and hovering flight, providing a welcome boost to biodiversity in UK gardens.
