After a 14-year campaign, the Bays of Harris Community Estate Ltd has been awarded over £1m by the Scottish Land Fund to purchase a 27,181-acre estate. This funding allows the community to take ownership of the land between Tarbert and Leverburgh, securing local control over the area's future.
