Dungeness RNLI marks 200 years of lifesaving with a public open day
Dungeness RNLI is celebrating two centuries of service to the Romney Marsh coastline with a free event featuring live demonstrations of their Shannon-class lifeboat. The day offers a look at the station's history, which includes 1,473 rescue missions and 473 lives saved since 1826.
