The operator of the Tyne Tunnels has donated £8,400 to fund a new rescue watercraft for RNLI lifeguards at Roker Beach in Sunderland. The craft replaces an older model, ensuring lifeguards can maintain a rapid emergency response for beachgoers throughout the summer season.
