After finding the chemotherapy unit at Darent Valley Hospital uncomfortably hot during her own treatment, 45-year-old Anna Joyles has raised over £1,000 to purchase fans. The funds will provide relief for both patients and staff working in the lower-ground floor department, helping to improve conditions for those undergoing long sessions of care.
