Filtronic, a County Durham-based aerospace specialist, has reported strong growth thanks to its partnership with SpaceX. The firm signed a five-year agreement with Elon Musk’s space company in April 2024, starting with a £15.7m order and expanding into a larger deal worth £47m. The partnership has helped boost Filtronic’s global reputation as a key player in advanced RF solutions for space and telecoms, with the company expecting to report revenue of at least £55.5m for the 2026 financial year.
