Drug delays type 1 diabetes onset for up to three years and is now available on the NHS in England and Wales
Teplizumab, the first drug to delay the onset of type 1 diabetes, is now available on the NHS in England and Wales. This marks a major shift in treatment since insulin was first discovered over a century ago.
