The Cornwall Heritage Trust has taken ownership of the Grade II listed Prince of Wales Engine House to ensure its long-term preservation. Beyond its mining history, the site is a Site of Special Scientific Interest that supports rare plant life, including the world's only two known populations of Cornish path moss.
