Lower Thames Crossing project expands its diesel-free construction fleet
More than 30 zero-emission machines are currently in use on the Lower Thames Crossing, with plans to increase this to 150 by 2028. By relying on electric, hydrogen, and HVO-powered equipment, the project aims to demonstrate that large-scale infrastructure can be built without traditional diesel machinery.
