Wakefield establishes itself as a national hub for sculpture
As the birthplace of Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth, Wakefield is the only city outside London to host two Art Fund Museums of the Year. A £1m investment in a new city centre public sculpture programme is now building on this heritage to bring contemporary art into the daily lives of residents and visitors.
