Planning permission has been granted for a new facility at Bristol Port to manufacture 38,500 concrete segments for the Sizewell C nuclear power station's marine tunnels. The factory will support up to 400 jobs and allows the project to transport materials by rail and sea, reducing the volume of construction traffic on local roads.
