Gwynedd metal detectorist finds 3,000-year-old Bronze Age gold bracelet
Idris Thomas discovered the gold bracelet while scanning farmland in Llanuwchllyn, initially mistaking the item for scrap metal. Experts from Museum Wales have confirmed the piece is 92.8% gold and dates back to the late Bronze Age, offering a rare glimpse into the high-status jewellery worn by local communities three millennia ago.
