Conservationists at RSPB Bempton Cliffs have recorded 54 breeding pairs of tree sparrows this year, successfully fledging 302 chicks. By managing the reserve's farmland and planting sunflowers for winter food, the team is helping to support a species that has seen significant population declines across the rest of the UK.
