The King is meeting with firefighters, volunteers, and community leaders to acknowledge their work during the five-week blaze that affected 3,300 hectares near Aviemore. During his visit, he will also mark a new twinning partnership between the Cairngorms and Shenandoah National Park in the US, celebrating the shared geological history of the two mountain ranges.
