Researchers on a ten-day expedition off the west coast of Scotland have observed a gathering of up to 30 Minke whales feeding near the Isle of Eigg. This density of whales is among the largest ever recorded for the species in Scottish waters, providing valuable data on how these animals congregate when food sources are abundant.
