The Brick-O-Matic machine in Rawtenstall uses cameras and air jets to identify and sort 40,000 LEGO bricks a day by colour and shape. By automating the process, the system helps rescue millions of durable bricks from landfill and prepares them for reuse in pre-loved sets.
