Following the decommissioning of the Hagshaw wind farm, ScottishPower has successfully recycled or reused 99.9 per cent of the materials from its 26 turbines. This project demonstrates that wind energy infrastructure can be integrated into a circular economy, providing a practical model for the future of sustainable energy decommissioning in the UK.
