HMS Duncan has returned to Portsmouth to begin a refit that will see the final Type 45 destroyer receive new diesel generators and enhanced air defence systems. This work addresses long-standing propulsion issues and adds Sea Ceptor missiles, ensuring the ship remains capable of countering modern threats after a busy period of international deployments.
