Passengers in Glasgow, Inverclyde, Renfrewshire, Ayrshire, Lanarkshire and Dunbartonshire can now access a £2 cap on bus fares. This expansion follows a successful trial in the Highlands and Islands and serves as a step toward the Scottish Government's goal of implementing a nationwide fare cap by the end of the parliamentary term.
