Siemens Energy will produce steam turbine components for the Rolls-Royce Small Modular Reactor fleet at the historic CA Parsons Works site in Newcastle. This move marks the first time such parts will be manufactured for a small modular reactor in Europe, supporting over 550 jobs and strengthening the UK's domestic energy supply chain.
