Isle of Mull sea eagle survives with broken wing to fly again
After falling from its nest during a storm as a chick, a sea eagle nicknamed Kinky has been spotted flying over the Isle of Mull three years later. The bird survived thanks to an unusual period of extended care from its parents, who skipped a breeding season to support its recovery - a rare outcome for a bird once not expected to reach adulthood.
