King Charles and President Macron to preview the Bayeux Tapestry at the British Museum
King Charles, President Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister Andy Burnham are visiting the British Museum to view the 70m-long Bayeux Tapestry ahead of its public opening on 10 September. The medieval artefact, which depicts the Norman Conquest, is on loan from France until 2027 as a symbol of the partnership between the two nations.
