Blacksmithing returns to Gretna Green for the first time in over 150 years
A new forge has opened in Gretna Green, reintroducing the traditional craft to the village after more than a century and a half. Visitors and newly-weds can now try their hand at metalwork, reconnecting the site with the anvil-based history that made it a famous destination for eloping couples.
