Construction begins on new 160-place SEN school in Gillingham
Work has started on a new purpose-built facility for Inspire Academy on Cornwallis Avenue, which will provide 160 places for children with autism and social, emotional, and mental health needs. The Department for Education-funded project will replace the existing Chatham site by 2028, expanding local capacity and offering specialist classrooms and outdoor learning spaces.
