ScottishPower begins repowering Hagshaw Hill wind farm in UK-first project

ScottishPower has begun dismantling the original turbines at Hagshaw Hill in South Lanarkshire to replace them with more efficient models. This repowering project marks the first time a commercial wind farm in the UK has been upgraded, allowing the site to generate significantly more electricity from the same location.
