The Metropolitan Police has increased its fleet of high-powered electric motorbikes to 25 to better navigate narrow streets and heavy traffic when pursuing suspects. These vehicles allow officers to reach areas inaccessible to traditional patrol cars, supporting a wider effort that has seen phone thefts across the capital fall by over 13,000 in the past year.
