Brighton and Hove City Council has finished a three-year programme to install solar panels on 1,400 council-rented homes. By prioritising properties with low energy efficiency, the project aims to help residents reduce their electricity bills by up to £300 a year while supporting the city's goal to reach carbon neutrality by 2030.
