Castings Technology has installed a new vacuum arc remelting furnace at its 196,000 sq ft Sheffield site, marking a shift in its manufacturing capacity. The equipment will be used to produce high-integrity titanium alloy castings for the aerospace and energy sectors, helping to streamline production and secure domestic supply chains.
