British Business Bank provides £9.4bn in finance to smaller businesses

The British Business Bank has delivered a record £9.4bn in finance to smaller businesses across the UK over the past year, resulting in a £426m pre-tax profit. This funding is expected to support the creation of 39,000 jobs and generate £8.8bn in gross value added, helping smaller firms to start, scale, and remain in the UK.
