Plans for the first stage of a £130m housing overhaul in the Lochside area of Dumfries have been approved, clearing the way for 52 new affordable homes at Findlater Court and Syme Road. This project marks the start of a long-term programme to upgrade existing properties and create new green spaces, shaped by the input of local residents.
