The community group Quilts For The Longest Day is exhibiting its work in the Old Hall of the Rotherham mansion, including a piece created for veteran and patron Ben Parkinson. Founded by Lisa Birkett to mark the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings, the organisation has grown from a single project into a not-for-profit that provides handmade quilts to local veterans.
