British Business Bank receives £6.5bn funding boost to support smaller businesses

The government has increased the Growth Guarantee Scheme by £6.5bn, allowing the British Business Bank to provide more finance to growing companies across the UK. This expansion includes longer loan terms and higher turnover eligibility, helping an estimated 33,000 businesses secure the investment needed to scale their operations.
