Neil Gilson, a 40-year-old from Devon, has become the first person to swim Switzerland's ten largest lakes, covering a total of 230 miles over two summers. By completing the final 45-mile stretch of Lac Léman, he finished a long-term endurance goal that highlights the physical demands of open-water swimming.
