Researchers tracking 180,000 postmenopausal women in the UK have found that those who used hormone replacement therapy were 10% less likely to develop dementia. The study suggests that beyond managing menopausal symptoms, HRT may play a role in long-term cognitive health, particularly for women who have undergone surgical menopause.
