The Church of Saint Michael at Cold Kirby has received a £122,760 grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to explore its conversion into a low-cost hostel for walkers and riders. The project will allow the Saint Aelred’s Pilgrim Trail Society to carry out the specialist planning and conservation work needed to give the recently listed building a sustainable future.
