The Rowan Glen factory near Palnure is set for a £1m upgrade to modernise its production facilities and introduce new dairy products like cottage cheese. After being saved from closure by a local buyout in 2022, the site now supports 30 jobs and sources all its milk from nearby farms in Dumfries and Galloway.
