Major General Sir Nils Olav, the mascot of the Norwegian King's Guard, is expecting his first chick after his partner Connie laid an egg at Edinburgh Zoo. This is the first king penguin egg at the zoo in 17 years, and the pair will now take turns incubating it for the next 55 days.
