Atlantic bluefin tuna have been spotted off the coast of Whitby for the first time since the 1960s, prompting researchers from the University of Exeter to begin tagging the fish. By tracking their movements, scientists hope to better understand the return of these top predators and use the data to support international marine conservation efforts.
