Jacob Newson is trekking to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro to reach the peak on his 13th birthday, aiming to raise £100,000 for the RAF Benevolent Fund. The challenge follows years of fundraising by the young pilot-hopeful, who is undertaking the climb to support the organisation that has provided him with opportunities following the death of his mother.
