A year-long trial involving the Scottish Wholesale Association has shown that electric heavy goods vehicles can successfully complete up to 95% of short and regional delivery journeys. By proving that electric trucks can operate effectively in real-world conditions, the programme provides a practical pathway for the wholesale sector to reduce its reliance on diesel and lower operational emissions.
