Around 750,000 young adults aged 18 to 23 are being encouraged to check for unclaimed Child Trust Funds that could be worth an average of £2,242. These tax-free accounts were set up by the government for children born between 2002 and 2011, providing a helpful financial boost as they start their adult lives.
