New owners have begun a year-long project to restore the Grade II listed Thwaite Mills in Stourton, transforming the site into a working museum, pub, and cafe. They are now seeking former staff, volunteers, and skilled tradespeople to help return the 19-acre island site to its former state, ensuring the historic machinery is operational once more.
