After uncertainty surrounding special school provision, parents and the charity Sensability organised a week-long summer scheme in Lisburn for children with severe learning disabilities. The programme provided nursing-supported activities for 20 young people, offering families a reliable alternative to ensure their children had consistent care and engagement during the holidays.
